CURRENCY
The official currency in Botswana is the Botswana Pula (BWP). South African Rand (ZAR) and the US$/USD are also widely accepted. All of our Botswana tours are indicated and quoted in US$/USD.
VACCINATIONS
Your doctor should be able to advise you of any vaccinations that you would need. The central and northern regions are considered high risk areas for Malaria and we advise on medication.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
We recommend that you have your own personal travel insurance. This will cover any possible events such as a cancellation of a tour, medical costs or and damage/theft of personal belongings.
VISAS/PASSPORT
Passport must be valid for 6 months from departure date to Namibia. Your passport must also have at least 3 blank pages. We can advise if you would need a visa to enter Botswana, but to be safe it is best to check with your Airliner.
BEST TIME TO TRAVEL
The best time to visit Botswana is during the dry months ( May to October ) when the famous waterways and channels of the Okavango Delta are full of water. Game viewing is also possible year round.
